At 9: 00 a.m. on October 18, 2018, the 2018 Mazda Global Stamping Technology Exchange was successfully held in the Technology Center of Pingwei Co., Ltd. The Japanese participants attending the meeting included Andamoto Minister of Mazda Production Technology Department, Hashimoto Minister of Tooling Production Department, Miyagi Heavy Manager of Car Body Technology Department and Kawasaki Vice President of Mazda-Toyota US Manufacturing Plant. The Chinese participants included Meng Jihai, vice president of Changan Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. and leaders of his party, as well as senior executives of various companies of Mazda's strategic partners in stamping technology.

The meeting kicked off with the enthusiastic welcome speech of Chairman Hou Changyuan of the organizer Pingwei Co., Ltd. First of all, Minister Andamoto gave a comprehensive interpretation of Mazda's concept of soul-moving design, car-building as art, integration of people and horses, and creation of blue sky. The seventh generation soul moving modeling upgraded from the sixth generation's shadow line beauty to the light and shadow flow of the modeling surface. Japan Mazda has realized the mass production of craftsman technology through soul dynamic molding, soul dynamic cutting, soul dynamic polishing, and even installed sensor devices on processing equipment in order to ensure the processing quality, taking into account the deformation of tools due to temperature changes.

Minister Hashimoto explained how Mazda realized the important measures of the seventh generation soul moving modeling. No matter from the appearance of the mold surface to the appearance of the parts, to the appearance of the whole vehicle, each step will be compared with the zebra pattern on the CAD design to ensure the consistency of the zebra pattern. Even in the process of mold development, Mazda of Japan has developed a special oilstone for soul-moving modeling. In this regard, we fully feel the Japanese Mazda excellence in the pursuit of manufacturing technology.

Vice President Kawasaki introduced Mazda Toyota's U.S. manufacturing plant and its in-house products. Miyagi technical manager shared the direction of Mazda stamping technology innovation and related measures. Mazda pays attention to economic efficiency as well as value and cost of manufacturing innovation, through skills to achieve ingenuity, so as to achieve the craftsmanship of mass production, to present customers with a constantly improving manufacturing world. The sharing of manager Gong Chong has opened up a new direction for stamping technology and even the automobile industry.

Subsequently, Changan Mazda Tao Hongtao Manufacturing Engineering Director summarized the 2019 Changan Mazda stamping project. Pingwei shares, Chengfei integration, Chengdu Pushi, Hebei Xinglin, Tianqi mold, Changan mold and other six Mazda stamping technology strategic cooperation enterprises also made a summary of their experience in the production of Mazda's seventh generation mold. This summary not only saw the highlights, but also summed up the shortcomings, enterprises learn from each other.

Finally, Changan Mazda Meng Jihai vice president of the exchange will make an important speech. Mr. Meng spoke highly of and thanked Pingwei for the careful preparation and organization of this meeting. He proposed that participating companies should have an open mind, strengthen mutual technical exchanges, use this platform to grow together, and comprehensively improve Mazda's seven-generation mold manufacturing concept in the J59Y project. The convening of this meeting not only allowed the mold companies to further understand Mazda's car-building concept and development plan, but also pointed out the direction for future technology exploration. More importantly, this meeting has strengthened the communication and exchange between mold enterprises, and we have reached a consensus on win-win cooperation. Nowadays, the market competition is very cruel. It is better for mold enterprises to keep warm together than to fight each other. They should do a good job in product positioning, be refined and stronger, give full play to their advantages, and provide better service for the main engine factory.
